    非常好的针对职场文化差异的讨论和总结。很好的架构,用8个维度来解释不同国家的职场人在沟通合作方面的差异和矛盾:高语意沟通与低语意沟通,关系信任与任务信任,层级管理与民主管理,直接反馈与间接反馈,原则说服与应用说服,协商决定与高层决定,直接否定与避免冲突,守时与灵活。记住这些有利于在跨文化沟通的时候更自如,但是不要轻易尝试作为外国人使用对方的文化,尤其是在直接批评与反馈方面。08-07

    书很好读,举例很多而不是纯理论,并且作者还贴心的提供了不少解决方案,非常简单明了。读完一遍,未来也可以时不时翻阅,当工具书用。作者本人是INSEAD的教授,主要内容都是基于她在跨文化工作环境中的实践,比如对学生的访谈和问题总结等。而商学院的学生不外乎就是各大跨国企业的中高级管理人员,所以这个本书很适合需要在同样环境下工作的人去看。如果能够理解文化差异和不同文化背景下的思维模式,可以显著减少沟通和表达方式上的分歧,提升管理水平及工作效率。因为人的思维方式和行为,会受到自己原生文化的影响,有时甚至是潜意识的。即使是在海外生活多年,自认为很“国际化”的人群,依然有时会而不自知被牵引。04-10
