真是历史研究者必读，虽然作者是通过挖掘某些史学研究中埋藏的闪光点来把社会学家拉到历史（event）那边去，但是最该读的还是研究历史的人。对于中文学术世界里面彻底无视理论的经验主义研究者，和胡乱使用“结构”、"文化"这种社科词汇有着正本清源的作用。04-02

断断续续看了chapter01/02/03，让我印象深刻的几件事：the vendee启发了作者（我也喜欢），作者的爹是Madison sociology的重磅人物（madison最近在我的生活中浓度太高），作者说的hard data using quant method应该说的是描述性统计吧感觉和社科的因果推断还是挺有距离的。12-02

指定阅读Chapter3.4 很精妙，不会忘记这本书。10-07

常读常新，再看一遍，简直是圣经！06-08

强推，前两章的社会史/新文化史综述，对cultural turn的反思以及自己的dual structure的概念建构都值得认真反思，最后提出的return of social也是我希望踏足的领域10-17

豆瓣公开课第一份资料～第八章02-20

嗯，读了部分。好书。特别是针对那些读过人类学、社会学中各类理论与民族志的人，针对那些对历史学纷争的人，针对建筑史中类似事件和结构不断纠缠的人，此书算是给出了很好的梳理与点评。最终的立场或是方向或许真就没有作者的整理那么重要。01-16
