读的第一本博尔赫斯，“竟然”是我读的第一本博尔赫斯。一本书，五个故事，五十多页，却有一种把诺兰的所有科幻电影都写尽了的感觉。树形结构的多重故事线、找不到开头和结尾的书、构建幻象的幻象…每一篇都能发展出一部恢弘巨作，但正因为它们都只停留在短篇，所以更加精妙。太喜欢了。03-31

本质上这是一篇讲平行宇宙的短篇，但博尔赫斯却能将其写的如此引人入胜，如此迂回，如此令人回味无穷。我非常喜欢他议论与描写的方式，他对文字的运用以及语言的理解不愧为世界大师级别。故事有一层深厚的模糊底色，蕴含无限奥妙。每个读者也许都能从中辨认出不同的颜色。我看到的是灰蒙蒙乡村夜晚里，一盏立在迷宫中的橘黄的灯。01-09

的确，小说里的话题与叙述很吸引人。但是中间对时间迷宫的描述太匆忙、简短，只附着在一个莫名的艺术家祖先身上，像一层轻薄的影子，只吸到了二手烟。但是叙述者自身的故事与祖先的故事嵌套是很巧妙。08-09

It requires rereading: so many pieces of information to be recollected and verified (from other references), and finally a whole system is rebuilded or sand castle fastened. It also needs imagination.05-01

Marveling at the fierce genius of Jorge Luis Borges, a man with some of the most original ideas, most ruthless satires, and a most delightful sense of humor. My favorite in this collection is “Pierre Menard, the Author of Quixote” — can anything be funnier and more sarcastic? 08-10
